東大・一橋・上智・慶應・早稲田・青山学院・ICU等、一部の難関大では設問に至るまで全て英語というハードな問題が見られます。
このような入試問題には、英文を精密に読み進めていく「ミクロ」の視点と、細かなことは気にせず大意を把握する「マクロ」の視点の両方があると有効です。
『Neil Chapman先生によるオールイングリッシュのリーディングクラス』は、ネイティブのような感覚で英文に触れていける講座です。難関大を目指す皆さん、英語力を特に強化したい皆さん、ぜひ受講をおすすめします!

To : Step Students
You are now high school students and are thinking seriously about your future. This includes what job you want to do, and which university you want to go to. Studying English in the Native Reading Class will help you with both.
English has now become the main international language used in world affairs, and it is a big advantage for you if you can not only read advanced level texts, but can also speak the language well and understand natural spoken English. Japan needs more English speakers!
It may be difficult at first, but if you try hard in my class, all areas of your English will improve. every week it will gradually get better and better and your level will get higher. Our main purpose will be to help you get into the university of your choice, and we will be studying English entrance exam papers from different universities and talking about them in English. This will not only help with your understanding of intonation and pronunciation, but also help you in the listening tests (the Center tests, and many universities have English listening tests, some of them high level). There is no better way to improve your listening ability than by having lessons with a native speaker of the language.
The classes will also be a lot of fun. You will learn many new words and expressions and be able to see a different cultural viewpoint.
To prepare for this class, start studying English hard now. Don't wait until you are a third grader! Learn as much grammar and vocabulary as you can, study for Eiken tests, speak as much as you can in your school oral communication class, and perhaps most importantly, try to enjoy English as much as you can. I am looking forward to meeting you!
